LiNDY HOP & Jazz for Beginners
season 2024-2025
Would you like to start dancing with BSDC? In 2024-2025 we have regular weekly lessons and weekend crash courses for you.
Registration is open to everyone (no need to register with your partner, no need to have any dance experience, your age is not important, there’s literally nothing that can stop you from joining us!). There are 4 different levels offered to Beginners and Beginners Intermediate (dancers with less then 1 year of experience):
Level 1: classes and courses for absolute Beginners
Level 2: classes and courses for Beginners
Level 3: classes for Beginners Intermediate, part 1
Level 4: classes for Beginners Intermediate, part 2
Plus, we have plenty of Special Classes on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can try some other dances (such as Balboa, Blues, Shag or Charleston), learn more about swing music, history and other special themes.
Level 1: classes and courses for absolute Beginners
This level is for absolute beginners who have no experience dancing Lindy Hop. We also recommend you choose this group if you already have done Beginner classes with another dance schools, as our program might be different from most of the places.
8 weeks course “Lindy Hop - 1” for Beginners with no experience (two months): Rue de la Marne 22, 1030 Schaerbeek
Group 1 (March-April) Tuesdays, 18.30-19.30. Dates: 4th of March, 11th of March, 18th of March, 25th of March, 1st of April, 9th of April, 16th of April, 23rd of April.
8 weeks course “Lindy Hop & Jazz - 1” for Beginners with no experience (two months): Rue de la Marne 22, 1030 Schaerbeek
Tuesdays, 19.40-20.40. You can choose any group from the “Lindy Hop - 1” course above and take 1 hour Jazz class on the same day.
6 hours Crash courses for Beginners, part 1 (one weekend): Rue de la Marne 22, 1030 Schaerbeek

Level 2: classes and courses for Beginners
This level is for dancers with some experience: those dancers who have finished BSDC courses for Beginners Level 1, or for dancers who started to dance with BSDC some time ago and would like to come back now.
8 weeks course “Lindy Hop - 2” for Beginners: Rue de la Marne 22, 1030 Schaerbeek
Group 1 (March-April): Wednesdays, 18.30-19.30. Dates: 5th of March, 12th of March, 19th of March, 26th of March, 2nd of April, 10th of April, 17th of April, 24th of April.
8 weeks course “Lindy Hop & Jazz - 2” for Beginners: Rue de la Marne 22, 1030 Schaerbeek
Thursdays, 19.40-20.40. You can choose any group from the “Lindy Hop - 2” course above and take 1 hour Jazz class. Dates: 6th of March, 13th of March, 20th of March, 27th of March, 3rd of April, 11th of April, 18th of April, 25th of April.
4+4 hours Crash courses for Beginners, part 2 (two weekends): Rue de la Marne 22, 1030 Schaerbeek
15&16th of February 2025 + 22&23rd of February 2025 15.30-17.30
Prices:
8 weeks Lindy Hop course: €120 (€80 for students)
8 weeks Lindy Hop + Jazz course: €160 (€120 for students)
6 hours Crash Course: €90 (€60 for students)
4+4 hours Crash Course: €60+€60 (€40+€40 for students)
Prices for Special Classes, Events, Workshops etc. might be different. Please read carefully each event’s description. Payments can be done upfront at the place with cash, cards, Payconiq, our administrators and teachers will help you.
We kindly ask you to change your shoes on the ground floor and enter the ballroom only in your dance shoes (any shoes you don't use to walk outside are fine!).
